If Canadians had a choice of purchasing US or domestic milk I’ll bet they would buy Canadian

End all supports and tariffs and let market forces rule

We’ve never tried that have we?

The Canada I know has gone nuts! How is it that we only have Danielle Smith actually working with the US and Ottawa to make this a better place. Borders have changed throughout history. I think we need to separate away from these fraudulently elected politicians.

No other animal on the planet consumes another animal's milk from their young. Cow's milk isn't really needed for survival. Boycott the Milk Mafia.

Under Trump’s first term in office ultra filtered milk, which was a new product became the catalyst for Trump to attack NAFTA as being unfair because the United States was supposed to have access to Canadian markets the dairy farmers basically started Trump’s destruction of NAFTA

On my Uncle’s dairy farm (Grandma’s old farm) they put the milk through a separator, sold the cream, and fed the skim milk to the pigs. The pork was wonderful and the pigs loved it

Explain about how the process goes. The raw milk comes into the dairy. Then the first thing they do is remove all of the butterfly ,make skim milk out of all of it.

Please correct me if any of this is wrong so far.

Yes the raw milk comes into the plant for processing. Milk fat is removed and a small percentage is added back to make 2% etc. The cream will tuned into butter. A thickening agent is used in skim milk to make it look like cream. There is spin-off products like cheese and protein powder.

Also explain the penalties for overproduction of milk by a farmer.

Or the penalty from farmer selling milk to anybody.

Talk about how much milk gets dumped every day across Canada.

I’m not advocating for marketing boards. Their day is done. The marketing boards have served their purpose of stabilizing the industry. I believe it’s time to dismantle them slowly to allow the industry to level out into an open market.

Canadian dairy farmers should be allowed to produce any amount they can sell.
